Firefox: Blazing a Trail to 50,000,000
Cool contest over at Spread Firefox as they near 50,000,000 (yes, Fifty Million) downloads.
They said browsers were dead. They said open source would never penetrate the mainstream. But you’ve never cared much for rules, have you? And now we’re blazing a trail to 50 million downloads worldwide. As we turn open source into a household word and reassert the supremacy of simplicity, we are making waves%u2014and starting fires.

Mach-II.com :: Mach-II for PHP
Maybe worth a look. Not really open source. “Free to Use but Restricted” I haven’t been able to figure out what the restrictions are yet.
Mach-II is a powerful framework for building modular and maintainable object-oriented applications.

PearPC seeking funding to sue CherryOS - Engadget - www.engadget.com
PearPC seeks funding to sue CherryOS. I’m hoping they get it.

On another note, notice how someone at engadget doesn’t quite get the GPL yet?
PearPC’s code is licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL), which does allow for free use of the code, but expressly forbids offering that codebase up for sale.
The GPL does allow one to sell it’s code. It however does require you make the source available when you do. That includes any changes you make to the code.
