AOJ Outdoors Tip - Eliminate Yellow Jackets With This Non-Toxic Homemade Yellow Jacket Trap!

My grandpa turned me onto this sure-fire yellow jacket eliminator about 50 years ago when I was just a youngster. I’ve observed its efficiency in removing all the yellow jackets from our campsite in a matter of a single day and before the week was over the entire campground was free of these hostile pests that make camping and other outdoor activities miserable.

Cool stuff. I’ll be buying a piece of fish on the way home tonight. We’ve got more wasps than we can count and I’m getting tired of spraying their nests.

Texas attorney general moves to shut down makers of gas pill - MarketWatch

Looks like BioPerformance is going down. I particularly like the paragraph warning that exposure to the pill may result in anemia or liver disfunction. The highways are toxic enough without burning napthalene crap and exposing millions of people to it’s fumes.

The Texas Attorney General filed a lawsuit Wednesday against the makers of a “gas pill,” which the state says is a worthless mothball that’s part of an illegal pyramid scheme, preying on consumers frustrated by high gasoline prices.

I’ve posted previously about the Gas Pill here.

Jackhammer Headphones

Jackhammer Headphones

These are about like a pair of headphones that my dad made back in the early 70s.

Unlike the Bose model, these block outside noise instead of cancelling it. Listen to music or books on tape without hearing traffic noise, screaming babies, etc. I’ve been making these for more than a decade. People sometimes ask “isn’t it dangerous not being able to hear?” No. Talking on a cellphone shuts off most of the brain whereas listening to headphones is no more dangerous than say, being deaf. Lots of my friends use these units and no harm has come to anyone.

Just how small is our stainless-steel hypodermic tubing? It comes in diameters as fine as 0.00425 inches–the width of a thick human hair. We have dozens of sizes, several lengths, and two types of stainless, so you’ll find a combination that’s right for practically every application. It’s perfect for industrial applications such as precision dispensing, fiber-optic guides, and sampling probes, and for use in such medical devices as laparoscopes and needles.
