Report: Jackson In Talks To Avoid Loan Default

Evidently being a freak doesn’t pay as well as it used to. Oh wait, he wasn’t a freak back when people liked his shit. I’m hoping that McCartney will get his songs back, but I bet some fancy pants lawyer will end up owning them.

Lawyers for Michael Jackson and a key creditor are in talks to keep the pop star from defaulting on $200 million in loans secured by his prized stake in the Beatles’ song catalog, an attorney for the singer said on Monday (Dec. 19).

Zombie Alert - The Experts Speak

Are you ready?

With the proliferation of low grade B movies about zombies, many have come to beleive that zombie attack is not a serious threat to home and family. In the hallowed halls of our great universities and institutions, however, that is not the case. Although some ultra-liberal academics have suggested that zombiehood is simply a case of normal people who are metabolically challenged, the vast majority of scientists and researchers remain seriously concerned about the zombie threat to the American way of life.

The Herald-Zeitung

Merry Christmas. My best present this year was from the firefighters who put out the grass fire 20 yards short of my house.

Pics are up on Flickr.

A series of grass fires blanketed parts of New Braunfels in a haze of white smoke Saturday afternoon.

Extreme dry conditions and a stiff breeze carried the blaze from field to field as smoke and embers blew through the air.

Open Letter
I am writing you with much concern after having read of your hearing
to decide whether the alternative theory of Intelligent Design should
be taught along with the theory of Evolution. I think we can all agree
that it is important for students to hear multiple viewpoints so they
can choose for themselves the theory that makes the most sense to them.
I am concerned, however, that students will only hear one theory of Intelligent
Design.
