Atom Chip Corporation

If it walks like a hoax and talks like a hoax, then it must be a hoax. Be sure to check out the Industrial Products page. You’d think they’d use something other than a Radio Shack Headphone plug for their 24GB NvIOp RAM.

Atom Chip Corporation is a research & development company for new computer designs. The company has developed a series of new Quantum and Quantum-Optical devices for storing and processing information in a way that permits high-speed data accessibility, with a high degree of reliability, non-volatility, and extremely high-density in an extremely compact size. The devices do not employ any mechanical or moving parts, and are completely based on solid state optoelectronics.

  1. It is so weird that a company would post a hoax website and cut their own throats. The only part of this whole thing that lends any credibility is that they are truly registered at CES 2006. Frankly that doesn’t mean much because they probably won’t show up which will only add fuel to the speculation fire that something big is happening and they couldn’t attend. Whatever, it’s just too incredible to bet on. We’re either viewing a hoax or this is some major geek outfit that could really benefit from some professional marketers.
